My heart’s most ardent desire is to write dreamy literature that reflects the beauty of true love and femininity.
Throughout the course of my life, my soul has fallen fervently in love with art and literature. Much of my writing has been greatly inspired by Lana Del Rey, Song of Solomon and Psalms.
Writing glorious works that deeply resonate with other women is something that I consider to be my greatest passion. I remember the beginning of my writing journey so clearly and as vivid as an unforgettable dream sent from heaven. For at the age of 14 years old, I had MTV on in my bedroom one morning as I was preparing to get ready for school. Yet suddenly, my whole world changed when they began to play ‘Video Games’ by Lana Del Rey. It caused me to stop in my tracks wholeheartedly. I was utterly mesmerized by Lana’s angelic voice and beautiful songwriting. I have never known or heard of any musical artist who carried the ability to touch my heart before like she did. It was a kind of language that only certain listeners could resonate with and comprehend, and her songwriting transformed my life in a way where I finally knew within my heart that I’m not alone in my thoughts and feelings. Through which, over the years I grew deeper in love with her wonderful work. Through this, I have grown so deeply inspired to express my soul through writing too. It was a divinely comforting experience to reflect my soul in the art form of words, and I have not ceased writing ever since.
As well as Lana, I also admire Marilyn Monroe, Dorothy Dandridge, Princess Diana and Ella Fitzgerald as women who have inspired me to share love and light with the world through my dreams. They have taught me to see the beauty in blessing others within feminine strength, even in the midst of our own trials and tribulations.
Initially, I was hesitant to share my heart with the world because being a writer/artist requires you to be so vulnerable with sharing your dearest creations. Yet creating beautiful works of art has always been my soul’s deepest happiness since I was just a little girl. Falling in love with art began with me falling in love with the beauty of the universe. The delicate petals of flowers, the abundance of colors that you can find in a rose garden. A beautifully divine language that is communicated to heart’s around the world through beauty, and not merely words.
I hope that my work is able to radiate beauty, serenity and inspiration to your heart. Thank you once again for your time, I wholeheartedly appreciate you reading the story behind my art.
